Privacy Policy

DuaDhikr is built with privacy as a core principle. All personal data — your prayer settings, mood check-ins, dua history, and verse history — is stored exclusively on your device. We do not operate a user database and cannot access any of your personal data.

DuaDhikr does not require an account and does not collect your name or email address. Any data we do collect is used only to keep the app working and to improve it. It is never sold, rented, or shared for advertising.

Stored on your device only (never sent to us):

• Onboarding survey answers (gender, prayer habits, goals)
• Mood and closeness ratings from daily check-ins
• Your dua and Quranic verse history
• Subscription status and app preferences
• Your Screen Time app selection — stored by Apple as opaque tokens. We never know which apps you chose to block.

Collected automatically:

• Device model and iOS version
• App usage events (screens visited, feature interactions), linked to a pseudonymous device identifier. Used only to improve the app.
• IP address, logged briefly on our server for security purposes.

When generating your daily dua, the app sends a context payload to our API. This includes your mood, closeness rating, and a brief spiritual profile — along with a pseudonymous device identifier used to verify your subscription. This context is passed to OpenAI to generate your dua and is not stored in any database on our end.

The following services process limited data as part of the app's operation. None of them receive your name, email, or any data that identifies you personally.

Analytics events are retained for up to 12 months. We never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or any other commercial purpose.

All personal data stored on your device is deleted when you delete the app. To request deletion of any analytics events or server-side data associated with your device, contact us at the address below.

DuaDhikr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has used the app.

GDPR (EEA residents): You have the right to access, rectify, or erase personal data held about you. Personal data on your device is erased by deleting the app. For server-side data, contact us below.

CCPA (California residents): DuaDhikr does not sell personal information. You have the right to request deletion of any data we hold. Deleting the app removes all on-device data. For server-side data, contact us below.
